The Pierce Armstrong Foundation was established by the late Margery Pierce(1918-2007) together with her daughter and son-in-law, Toni and Martin Armstrong in 1983. It was intended to be the main instrument of the family’s philanthropic work.
The family have made significant further contributions to the Fund over the years and continue to do so.
The aim of the Foundation is to disburse grants to not for profit organizations whose work is judged to have the potential to improve the lives of the sick, disabled and under privileged; to support research which may contribute to a better quality of life for all Australians and to support artistic and cultural endeavors which will enrich the lives of members of our community.
The Pierce Armstrong Foundation is a member of Philanthropy Australia, the Australian organization representing grant making trust and foundations.
